ARP-ESSER III Funds Plan
Martinsville has developed and posted a Safe Return Plan for students and staff. This plan was drafted after consultation with the school board, teachers, parents, civil rights organizations (including disability rights organizations); and stakeholders representing the interests of children with disabilities, English learners, children experiencing homelessness, children and youth in foster care, migratory students, children who are incarcerated, and other underserved students for school-related personnel as well as public health advice. All funds will be used to meet the needs of all students, staff, and school personnel. No person shall be "left behind" in the educational process despite, race, religion, disability of physical or mental health issues. All steps will be taken to ensure the interventions we will implement will respond to the social, emotional, mental health, and academic needs of all students and particularly those students disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The plan will be reviewed, as stated on the webpage, each month or on an as-needed basis to amend or update per review of plan dictates, taking in all input, to include the public, staff, parents and all other stakeholders. Safe Return to School Plan is located on Martinsville webpage.
