The Bluestreaks celebrated our High School Fall Athletic Teams at our banquet on Sunday, November 16th. A huge thank you to the Booster Club and A Taste of Country Catering for providing a wonderful meal for our athletes, families, and coaches. We celebrated our volleyball team, football team and cheerleaders.

Today was a favorite lunch for our kids! We enjoyed a tasty Thanksgiving dinner! Mrs. Evers and Mrs. Manuel shared the meal family-style with their students. The pumpkin pie was a hit, the turkey was delicious, and the mashed potatoes with gravy were a big favorite.
A big thank-you to our wonderful kitchen staff for preparing such a fantastic meal!
The JH boys played at home against Cumberland. 7th grade won, 8th grade lost. Let's go Bluestreaks!
Each week, our students have the chance to earn a Golden Egg from Gertie Goose. Golden Eggs are awarded for showing GRIT, kindness, and being leaders in our school. When classes win, they come to the office and choose an egg to take back to their room to open and discover the prize inside.

In addition, Martinsville is hosting the 7th Grade Girls Regional Tournament beginning Saturday, November 22, in the Junior High gym. The Lady Bluestreaks will take on Danville Schlarman at 11:30 AM. Admission is $5.00 per person and passes will not be accepted.

The Fall Sports Banquet is today in the HS Gym at 5:00 PM. We will honor our high school volleyball, football, and cheerleaders.
Our first graders became the Kings and Queens of -ing as they learned how adding “ing” can transform words—lots of proud, royal moments in those classrooms!
Mrs. Skidmore made her class feel extra special by celebrating their Student of the Week, Trek. What a wonderful way to build confidence and community!
Our kindergarten students earned a Camping Day reward, and it was ADORABLE.
They celebrated T is for Turkey, made s’mores, and read stories in tents by flashlight—such a fun way to learn and make memories!
Mr. Ed even took time to enjoy lunch with our kids today. Our students absolutely love when staff sit down and share lunch with them. Moments like this make MES feel like family. 💙
We are gearing up for Family Reading Night, and we need your help!
If you have old pumpkins or fall décor, please send them to school on Monday—we’ll put them to great use. 🎃🍂
