Congratulations to the 7th grade volleyball team on advancing to the 2nd round of the Regionals. They will play at Home on Monday, the 26th.
Attention 3rd graders - 7th graders interested in playing JFL football or cheerleading....

The Booster Club will pay for all athletes' meals. Families and Bluestreak fans will be charged $5.00 per meal. A Taste of Country Catering will provide the meal.

Congratulations to the High School Boys on their win against Neoga 52 to 44. They advance to the semifinals and will play the winner of Tuscola vs Heritage on Wednesday, the 21st at Casey. Game starts at 6:00.

Athletic Events for the week of February 18th
No school February 19th!
After much discussion and consideration, the decision has been made to cancel the LEIC 8th grade volleyball tournament at Martinsville on Saturday, February 17th. Student safety is always our first priority. We will not be able to reschedule this event. Stay safe and warm.
The High School Boys Basketball game at Cumberland for tonight has been cancelled due to the slick road conditions. This game will not be rescheduled.
Due to rescheduling of a volleyball tournament we can no longer have the Little Girls 1st-4th grade basketball scrimmage tomorrow. Coach Cross is hopeful to reschedule in March. This is out of our control we apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you! Coach Cross
Congratulations to Mason Evens on his decision to run track at EIU next year. Great job Mason!
At the February BOE meeting, two representatives from FBLA spoke about their recent area conference. Hector Herrera and Natalie Craig told the members that the students will compete again at the State Leadership Conference April 5-6 in Springfield. They will attend workshops and hear speakers share about business related topics. Those that will compete at the conference will have an opportunity to learn from other members from all over the state and have the chance to advance to the National Leadership Conference if they place accordingly.
Just a reminder...early dismissal for P/T Conferences tomorrow! 12:10/12:15 for MES and 12:15 for MHS.
