Mrs. Young's first graders have been counting their way to Christmas break and spreading lots of holiday cheer along the way! Today, they topped off their learning with a tasty Christmas tree snack that was as fun to make as it was to eat. 🎄😋

Early Dismissal on Friday, December 19th at 2:00 pm!
Anyone who knows a Bluestreak knows we’re anything but Grinches! However, today our students sported their best Grinchy gear and colors of green. Our students were surprised with a special gift from Gertie Goose,a school movie and delicious popcorn to celebrate their hard work this semester. There’s nothing quite like a movie in the gym and some yummy popcorn to start the week off right!
This morning, students were thrilled, shocked, and overly excited to be greeted by none other than The Grinch and Cindy Lou Who themselves — what a festive way to start the day! (Thank you to Jared and Bri Lowry for setting this up for our kids).
Despite the fun, our students stayed focused, making up spelling tests, tackling Brain Buster math fluency challenges, and wrapping up research projects and reports. We sure know how to work hard and have fun at the same time!
A huge thank you also goes out for the generous donation of Hot Hands for our morning greeters, who help students safely get from the parking lot into the building each day.

The High School girls traveled to Chrisman tonight and came home with two wins!
Varsity took the victory 51–27, and the JV also picked up a win.
