Creativity was in full swing in Miss Seaman’s 3rd grade classroom today!
Students were challenged to create their very own state! They designed and drew their state, created a flag, marked the capital, and added all kinds of creative details.
We love seeing our Bluestreaks use their imaginations while learning! Who knows…we may have some future cartographers, governors, or state planners in this group!
Our first full week of school and we’ve already had 8 students lose teeth! That’s a lot of special deliveries for the Tooth Fairy! And just look at this sweet smile, he lost his VERY FIRST tooth today! There’s just something extra special about that first missing-tooth grin!
We love walking into classrooms and seeing students eager to participate, share their thinking, and learn! Great things are happening at MES, and we are off to a fantastic start!

The Martinsville Junior High Baseball team faced Red Hill tonight at home. The Bluestreaks came up short, but we’re proud of their effort!
The boys will be back in action at home on Monday, August 24 at 4:30 PM.

If you plan to pick up your student from school this Friday afternoon, please take a moment to talk with your child ahead of time so they know what to expect.
Please also send a note to school with your child letting us know that they will be picked up instead of riding the bus.
This simple step will help our teachers and office staff make sure every student is accounted for and gets to the correct dismissal location safely.

If you are able to pick up your child from school on Friday afternoon, we encourage you to consider doing so. Parent pickup is completely optional, but every family who is able to help will make a difference.
We are all working together as a team—with our students at the center—to help make Friday afternoon dismissal as smooth, quick, and safe as possible. When families, staff, and transportation teams work together, we can help ensure that all of our students get home safely and efficiently.

Great night for Junior High Baseball & Softball!
The boys had several great defensive plays and continue to come together as a team, falling just short 3–9 against Parkview.
The girls played an amazing game against Pal/Hut, staying tied for most of the game before falling 10–14.

Today was a BIG day for our littlest Bluestreaks! Our kindergarteners had their first full day of school!
Mrs. Feliciano's kids hit the ground running, making those precious first-day handprints that families will treasure for years to come. They also shared the special items they brought in their mystery bags, giving everyone a fun way to learn a little more about their new classmates!
Kindergarten is such a special year...a year of firsts, new friendships, big discoveries, and so much growing! We can’t wait to watch these sweet little Bluestreaks learn, laugh, and make memories together.
