Today is a School Improvement Day! Early Dismissal!

🏎️🔥 It was race day in Mrs. Conzen’s class! Our young engineers put their designs to the test, powered by a little hot air and a whole lot of creativity. 🚀 Students cheered as their inventions zoomed, drifted, and cruised to see whose creation could go the furthest.
Who knew science and engineering could be this much fun? Spoiler: our Bluestreaks did! 💙

Congratulations to the Lady Bluestreaks on a big WIN over Dieterich!

Mrs. Young’s first graders have been busy! 📝✨ They’ve been working hard to build words—stretching out sounds, blending letters, and growing stronger as readers. 📚 On top of that, they proudly shared presentations about their grandparents, telling stories about traditions, fun memories, and all the reasons they love them. 💙

🎶🥁 Our music room is full of energy and excitement! Students are learning all about steady beat and rhythm with Ms. Carpenter. From clapping and tapping to moving and grooving, our Bluestreaks are discovering how music brings us together and makes learning fun. 💙
Music builds listening skills, focus, and creativity, all while putting a smile on our students’ faces! 🎵

🎨✂️Our preschoolers have been busy little learners! They explored the color purple through painting, practiced writing the letter D, worked hard at gluing and cutting, and had fun building with blocks and playing with friends.
These activities may look like play (and they are FUN!), but they are also laying the foundation for lifelong learning:
✨ Painting & colors = creativity and self-expression
✨ Writing letters = early literacy skills
✨ Gluing & cutting = fine motor strength and coordination
✨ Blocks & playtime = problem-solving, cooperation, and social growth
At MES, we know that learning through play helps children build the essential skills they need to grow into confident, curious learners. 🌟

💙 Our kindergarteners are busy bees! They've been practicing their letters, building friendships that will last a lifetime, and even had the most udderly adorable visitor — a baby calf! 🐄
Nothing makes learning more memorable than mixing in laughter, love, and a little farm fun. Watching our littlest Bluestreaks grow in both knowledge and kindness is the best part of our days. 🌟

🌟 Bluestreaks know the balance—work hard, play hard! 🌟
After giving their best effort in the classroom, our kids head outside to sharpen basketball skills 🏀, try out the new pickleball/basketball court 🎾, swing high on the playground, and even pitch in to sweep away rocks. 💪
And the best part? Our teachers join right in! 🙌 Can you spot Mr. Mac out there showing the kids how to conquer the monkey bars? 🐒💙
