The Bluestreaks fought hard tonight!
Despite a tough battle and a weather delay, our team gave it their all against the Milford/Cissna Park Bearcats. We may have come up short on the scoreboard, but the heart and hustle were there.
Shoutout to the Spirit Sparklers for lighting up the night with an amazing performance during the delay!

🚨👮♂️🚑 More Safety Day pictures keep rolling in, and we just can’t hide these smiles and all the fun! 😃✨ Our students learned so much while having a blast—everyone needs to see and enjoy these moments! 💙 #SafetyDay #BluestreakPride

It was another fun week at MES! 💙✏️ Miss Gowin's class has been hard at work sharpening their writing skills, and Miss Sheila surprised us with her sweet kittens for a little cuddle time. 🐾 Lots of learning, lots of smiles, and the perfect way to end the week—being greeted by our Bluestreak cheerleaders (even more special when one of them is your sister)! 💙📣 #BluestreakProud #MES

We are hosting the LOVC volleyball tournament today. The FFA has the concession stand stocked with lots of food, including breakfast and lunch options. Let's go Bluestreaks!

Safety Day at MES is all about giving our kids real-life skills to stay safe, healthy, and prepared. 🚒🚓🚑 From fire drills to first aid, ATV and hunting safety, and even Sparky the Fire Dog,
our Bluestreaks learned lessons that last a lifetime. 💙 #SafetyDay #BluestreakProud

As if the day couldn’t get any better… Sparky the Fire Dog even came to visit! 🐶🔥 Our students loved meeting this special guest while continuing to learn about safety from our amazing community partners.
Enjoy a few more snapshots from Safety Day and join us in thanking all the heroes who made it possible! 💙

Safety Day at MES 🚒🚓🚑
Our Bluestreaks spent the day learning how to stay safe, healthy, and prepared thanks to some amazing community partners and staff!
💙 A huge THANK YOU to our local fire department, police department, and ambulance crews for taking time to share your knowledge, tools, and talents.
💙 Shoutout to Nurse Kannmacher and her family of nurses for teaching us how to keep our bodies healthy.
💙 Mrs. Carver reminded us how important it is to keep our MINDS positive and healthy, too.
💙 Students also learned valuable lessons about ATV safety and hunting safety.
We are so thankful for all who made today possible. Your dedication helps our students grow into safe, smart, and responsible Bluestreaks!

This morning, our High School Cheerleaders brought their enthusiasm and energy to the Elementary School with a fun Meet & Greet! They loved showing the younger Bluestreaks what school spirit is all about.
Let’s Go Blue! 💙🤍 #BluestreakPride #LetsGoBlue

🌟 Learning takes on many roles at MES! Our students research, create, build, and present—showing off the skills that are shaping them into amazing, confident young adults. 💡💙
From hands-on projects to big presentations, their creativity and hard work shine bright. Check out these awesome projects and creators! 🎉

🌾🐝 Our 5th grade Bluestreaks joined other Clark County 5th graders at Ag Conservation Day at Parcel Farms in Martinsville! From buzzing with the beekeepers 🐝, to exploring conservation 🌱, flying high with drone technology 🚁, and learning all about modern farming 🚜—our students got hands-on lessons in how agriculture impacts our everyday lives.
What an awesome day of learning, exploring, and seeing the future of farming right here in our community! 💙

👑🍎 Royalty in the house! Our very own Clark County Fair Queen—and Bluestreak alum—came back to MES! She’s headed toward a career in education, but for now she’s clearly the apple of kindergarten’s eye. 💙✨

🌾🚜 Our 5th grade Bluestreaks had a great time at Ag Safety Day at Parcel Farms! From equipment, to bees, drones, and modern farming—there was so much to see and do. 🐝🚁🌱
Check out more of our favorite moments below! 💙

🍎🎨 Who needs a fancy paintbrush when you’ve got… an APPLE on a STICK? Mrs. Feliciano's kids are proving that fruit isn’t just for snack time, it’s for masterpieces, too! 😂 From juicy stamps to silly splatters, these little artists are putting the “core” in creativity.
Messy? Maybe. Fun? Absolutely. Adorable? 100%! 💙

These FFA members helped facilitate Conservation Day on September 18th.
The Parcel Farm was the site host for the 4-H Extension sponsored Conservation Day which invites all the county 5th graders to enjoy a day learning about how agriculture and conservation work together. FFA members utilized leadership skills by guiding groups through the stations. Several stations were lead by former Bluestreaks sharing their knowledge on agriculture, drones and bees as well as other stations with expert conservationists.
It was a great day to be an FFA member AND a Bluestreak!

The High School Cheerleaders and Spirit Sparklers are ready to rock-n-roll at the football game on 9/20 at 6:00 PM. Be sure to watch their performance at halftime!
