Congratulations to Samantha Perry and Karrie Shotts for winning season Bluestreak passes at our MES Open House and Meet the Streaks! Congratulations on a year to cheer on the Bluestreaks for free!

More photos from our Open House fun!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us tonight for our Bluestreak Open House!
Our teachers and staff were so excited to meet the families of their students. We are truly blessed with an amazing community that showed up big to welcome and encourage our Bluestreaks with games, prizes, and back-to-school gifts. Students enjoyed Kona Ice and yummy treats.
A special shoutout to our incredible Martinsville Ag Fair who provided each MES student with a Bluestreak blue MAF t-shirt! Our Title I staff for handed out free books so students can get a jump start on meeting those AR goals!
What a fantastic celebration to kick off the year! 💙

We wrapped up the week on a positive note—soaking up the sunshine, playing with friends, and even challenging our PE teacher, Mr. Mac, to a lively game of 4 Square!
Our 3rd graders also got hands-on in science, exploring the effects of carbon dioxide. They quickly discovered that Mrs. Manuel’s “magic tricks” aren’t really magic at all—there’s some exciting science behind her surprises!
What a great way to finish the week at MES! 💙

Our first week of school ended with an important safety refresher!
Transportation Director Brenda Gilbert led a bus evacuation drill, and our students did an awesome job listening, learning, and practicing. Huge thanks to Brenda and our bus team for putting student safety first every day. 💙

It's BLUE Friday and Meet the Streaks! The Booster Club will start serving meals at 6:00 PM.
It's a Great Day to be a Bluestreak!
