Staff participated in a variety of trainings on the first SIP Day last Friday. A new requirement is for staff who handle hazardous materials to receive training. We invited Marshall to attend as well. Teachers learned about IXL, CPR, and more...it was a busy day!

A special message from Mrs. Carpenter: I wanted to inform you of a Music Booster Meeting on Friday, September 20th at 6:00 PM in the HS Band room. There has been a music booster group in the past, but it unfortunately ended. However, I have some high school parents who are eager to get it started again, and we would like to include the 5th grade Band and their parents as well. This first meeting will be informative, and we will also be voting on a president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary, along with establishing by-laws. I truly hope you can join us to support the band program. I apologize for the short notice! There will be more meetings in the future. Thank you for helping our music programs grow and thrive in the Martinsville School District!
