Bluestreaks On The Road! Our Jr-Sr High School Band & Choir Classes had an unforgettable trip to Beef & Boards in Indianapolis to watch the incredible musical *Jersey Boys*! The students got to experience the magic of live theater, and what better way to learn about the performing arts than to see it in action! Also, our 8th-grade class was on the move as well! They traveled to Lake Land College for the 33rd Annual Career Conference, where they explored future career opportunities and gained valuable insights. It’s always a great day when our Bluestreaks get to step outside the classroom and expand their horizons. We’re so proud of all our students for making the most of these amazing learning experiences!

Big congratulations to our amazing seniors, Brylee Reed & Angelina Heleine, for successfully passing the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) exam! 🩺 These two hard-working students have been excelling in the Health Occupation class through LLC at Horizon Health in Paris and are now completing their medical clinical rounds. One of their experiences includes working alongside Nurse Kannmacher at Martinsville Elementary School. We’re so proud of their dedication and accomplishments!

This week, our students have shown tremendous dedication as they complete the IAR state test. We are incredibly proud of the hard work demonstrated by both our students and teachers. As we have communicated to our students, tests are about progress, not perfection. They provide us with the opportunity to showcase our knowledge, and we encourage our students to focus on their own growth rather than comparing themselves to others. While testing may not be seen as the most enjoyable activity, it is a part of life that will be encountered in various career paths. At MES, we have made every effort to foster positivity, provide encouragement, and demonstrate our unwavering support and belief in our students. We wish to thank our PTO, parents, and our amazing staff for their contributions to our IAR prizes and our IAR Snack Bar. To celebrate the completion of testing, our 3rd - 6th graders will enjoy a GLOW party Friday! Let's continue to uplift and inspire one another.
