The Martinsville Chapter of the National Honor Society held its banquet on November 19th in the High School Media Center, where we proudly honored 10 new inductees. During the ceremony, students spoke about the four pillars of NHS—Scholarship, Character, Leadership, and Service—and what these qualities look like in our school and community.

The Bluestreaks celebrated our High School Fall Athletic Teams at our banquet on Sunday, November 16th. A huge thank you to the Booster Club and A Taste of Country Catering for providing a wonderful meal for our athletes, families, and coaches. We celebrated our volleyball team, football team and cheerleaders.

Today was a favorite lunch for our kids! We enjoyed a tasty Thanksgiving dinner! Mrs. Evers and Mrs. Manuel shared the meal family-style with their students. The pumpkin pie was a hit, the turkey was delicious, and the mashed potatoes with gravy were a big favorite.
A big thank-you to our wonderful kitchen staff for preparing such a fantastic meal!
The JH boys played at home against Cumberland. 7th grade won, 8th grade lost. Let's go Bluestreaks!
Each week, our students have the chance to earn a Golden Egg from Gertie Goose. Golden Eggs are awarded for showing GRIT, kindness, and being leaders in our school. When classes win, they come to the office and choose an egg to take back to their room to open and discover the prize inside.
