Our teachers haven’t missed a beat making up for those snow days!
Our 5th graders and 2nd graders are back in their routines and back to the grind...no learning time lost here. We’re proud of the focus, flexibility, and hard work happening in our classrooms!

How do Bluestreaks keep warm on winter days?
We snuggle in with a great book!
Check out these students cozying up and enjoying some great reading time. There’s nothing better than staying warm while getting lost in a good story!

It’s been a great day at MES!
Our students enjoyed creating snowmen, diving into some great reading, and working hard on their math skills. A perfect mix of creativity, learning, and winter fun all wrapped into one wonderful day of growth and smiles!

Mrs. Conzen’s class put history into action today with Boston Tea Party STEM challenges.
Students worked together to solve hands-on challenges inspired by the events of the Boston Tea Party, using critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork to complete their tasks. What a fun way to bring history to life while building problem-solving skills!
We love seeing our Bluestreaks learning through exploration and collaboration

Our kindergarten students in Mrs. Setzer’s class have been busy learning and studying Arctic animals. Today, they explored how these animals survive the cold by learning about the importance of blubber.
Students put both hands into a bowl of ice water. One hand was unprotected, while the other was placed inside a bag of “blubber.” They were amazed at how much warmer the protected hand felt!
What a fun and memorable way to learn how animals adapt to their environment. We love seeing our youngest Bluestreaks learning through hands-on science! 💙

The snow and freezing temperatures can’t stop our love for learning! Today, we want to give a HUGE shout-out to our heroes of the day, our AMAZING bus drivers! Thank you for safely getting our students to school despite the challenging conditions.
We also want to thank Mr. Waggoner, who went above and beyond by driving the school van around town this morning to pick up students who were walking to school. Acts like this truly show what it means to put kids first.
Stay warm and keep learning Bluestreaks! 💙

It's game night! Catch the 8th grade team in action tonight at 6:00 pm in the JH gym.
The Maintenance Department has been busy clearing parking lots & sidewalks to help everyone stay safe as they enter the school this morning. Thank you!
